Newport International Film Festival Presents the “Best Shorts” Fall Festival

November 7-8 Event Includes Benefit Party at The Newport Regatta Club on Friday, Three Shorts Programs on Saturday at the Jane Pickens Theater and a Panel Discussion

Newport, RI, October 1, 2003 – Into its seventh year, the Newport International Film Festival presents the first mid-year mini festival on November 7-8. Sponsored by the Law Offices of Richard P. D’Addario, the weekend will include a benefit reception at The Newport Regatta Club on Goat Island on Friday night. On Saturday, two programs of shorts selected from the festival archives, will be screened at 12:00, and 3:00 p.m. at the Jane Pickens Theater in Washington Square. Directors will be on hand to take questions and talk to the audience following the screenings. A panel discussion is also in the works, time and location TBA.
